I've done that before, Frankencushion didn't last long. In fact it didn't even last the 3 weeks it took to get a new bottom pad and install it.

Ok, I'm in nj. I do those all the time.

Ok not bad for my first attempt, I used the correct type of thread double strength and hid the end knot.
Once it wears on will look just like the original.
Took one hour and approximately $20 in parts from amazon.
Did the passenger side as well previous owner just covered the top with seat covers.
