Seat memory problem 04 Tahoe

My 04 Tahoe Z71 has drivers seat memory, but it will not hold memory for more than a day or two. I've set the seat memory position numerous times by holding the 1 button until it double beeps. Then some point in the future, I hit seat memory 1 button, and it pushes the seat all the way forward & up, practically smashing me up against the steering wheel. Anyone else had this issue? What is the cause and fix...if there is one? Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately no, never figured it out and the problem is still there I believe. I don't even bother with the seat memory any longer now. Sorry. Maybe this new interest will pull the answer out of the woodwork.
