I am looking to buy a GMT800 Tahoe or Yukon and I have noticed that the seatbelts are built into the seat rather then the pillar. It also looks like there is no adjustment as to the height. I am 6'5" and while Tahoe/Yukon being a full-size should suit me well, I am concerned that for a longer drives, the seatbelt will be uncomfortable. Wouldn't it be pushing my shoulder down since the mounting point will be in the back below my shoulder? I hope I am making sense with my question. Any tall drivers that could chime in?

My 2004 Envoy, and my 2006 Esky have the seatbelts built into the seat

I am also 6'2"

The seatbelts feel more like a good hug. Not uncomfortable to me by any means.

I actually wish this had stayed a thing. For the really short people, that have to move the seat all the way up, like my wife, its a daily pain in the rear to reach to that B-Pillar to get a seat belt. She normally has to grab the seatbelt before she sits down, as she normally cant reach it (short people = short arms) after she sits down.
