Security light flash and no start

So this has been going on for a year and now it's out of control. It's interfering with my wife's work and daughters school.
I know that there is a 10 minute delay before I can try and start the tahoe when the security light starts flashing after trying to start. Now we have usually been dealing with 3 and more cycles of this problem back to back.

Is there a write up on how to bypass this ? I did it on my camaro with resistors to match the key but these keys don't have them.

Need help with this asap.

this one is not a resistor in the key system. it needs to be properly diagnosed. what is the light and engine doing exactly

I got it fixed by removing the lock cylinder and cleaning the grease off and on the sensor side. No issue anymore with it.

But, the security light was flashing once in a while then more recently every time the key was turned to crank. After that it would just crank but only fire for a second. At first we finally figured out that we had to wait 10 min then try again. Also we noticed the security light would light up solid while driving.

We're good now though.
