I have a problem. I like to find reasons to do preventative maintenance on my vehicle. This causes side effects of a lighter wallet and time spent.

That said, at 8 yrs old and 135k miles, is it prudent to replace any sensors? Some examples would be MAF, MAP, O2, vapor canister purge valve, etc.

There are no drivability issues I’ve noticed other than a sporadic engine/transmission vibration at idle that’s apparent when the RPMs fluctuate below 500.

I agree with your premise and the list you have of sensors. As my dad taught me: "Maintenance pays and breakdowns cost". Maintenance means you know the cost up front and you can plan on the time. Repairs, you don't. If you plan to keep the rig, do these sensor replacements. Also, clean the throttle bore/plate.

TB cleaning is on the list. 1 screw boss on the air box is broken and the other three are stripped. I believe it’s not sealing well and there’s a bit of an air leak. I got the replacement in yesterday and will clean the MAF/TB when I install it.

I usually do "sensors" when I'm in doing something else.
It's a "while i'm there" kinda thing.. I did most of mine when
I did my header install and my supercharger install this spring.
I did the knock, oil pressure, 02 sensors, crank sensor
When I replaced the harmonic balancer (due to pinning it), I replaced
my water pump and then cleaned up the timing cover and replaced the cam
sensor and the seal as I had just a tad of seapage.
But I would not have done those unless I was already there.

So to sum it up, I'd only replace things as Prevent Maint in a scenario of
while I'm there.. Of course cleaning the MAF and THrottle body is a must.
Upstream O2 sensors are a must... Other than that, if they are still working and
not leaking I'd leave them alone... I really believe that the factory sensors
and being able to install them when everything is "new" makes them last
way longer than any replacement ever would
