My Service 4WD light recently came on. It did turn off for a couple of days, but now it has been on for over a week. My 4WD selector switch is not lit up either. Occasionally it will blink at start up, but then immediatley turns off. I can't get it to switch into 4WD. Pushing the buttons on the switch doesn't seem to do anything (no sound of the transfer case engaging). I have four buttons on my selector switch. I have heard you can ground pin 13 on the OBD II, but I don't appear to have a pin 13. Anyone have any ideas.

On an unrelated note (I think), my dashboard lights just quit working a few days ago.

that method does not work on the auto4wd system like you have. it must be scanned but check fuses 4, 24, 2 and 14 which are gauge, 4wd, tcase and illumination.
