Hi guys, been doing some reading up before posting this but wanted to get the general consensus.
My Service 4WD message came up today out of nowhere on my '05 Z71. The lights all come on for a second on the selector switch and then they all turn off... so it doesn't tell me what I'm in, nor can I make any selections.
So far I've read encoder motor or the switch itself.
Is the fact that I cannot switch or see anything on the switch itself point towards the switch? I read up a guide on replacing the encoder motor and it specified shifting the transfer case to neutral.. which I can't even do.
Thoughts?
