I recently bought my tahoe from a dealership. several times that i have tried playing with the 4x4, when i turn the dial the light flashes and then stays on 2wd and tells me on the dash that i need to "Service 4wd" i have taken it back to the dealer several times and they are unable to make it duplicate the problem. it is very random when it happens and cant get a pattern together. When i get this message 4wd does not work at all, usually after the truck gets stopped and restarted a couple times the 4wd works again.
do you guys have any ideas as to what it may be, or has anyone had this issue ? i have read that it could be the motor on the side of the T-case.
