Service air bag light

I put a new intermediate shaft in my '03 Z71 Tahoe and now the "check air bag" light is on. I had to put the power seat all the way back and now the light flashes and stays on. Anyone had this problem and if so, what was it?

I had this happen when I unplugged the passenger power seat (right rear of seat). I have a 2004 Yukon XL.
