I recently got an error on my 2012 Yukon that was alerting me that Traction and Stabilitrak were both off.

2 errors popped up when they scanned: C0710 and C0455.

I am attaching the invoice and service record for anyone else who runs into this problem and is curious about details or costs. For my situation, they charged $239 to diagnose and attempt to repair the connector of the steering wheel position sensor. $65 of that cost was also to reprogram a new remote keyless entry fob so the service was really ~$174.

As they brought the vehicle out to me though, the errors were still present so it went right back in where they had to replace the sensor for $87 in parts.

After reading up on this specific issue, I feel like I got screwed on costs - wish I had a scanner and read up on the forum about this issue.

yea sorry you got ******; the fact that they even charge you to program a key fob blows my mind.

Maybe Howard's mother really doesn't love you after all. :chair:

Yeah, regarding the $65 charge to configure a keyfob is nuts but apparently there's no way to do it yourself on the 2012 model. Is that right?

Any idea what the GM techs actually do to make this happen? Special hardware? Secret sequence of button pushes? Would be great to know the details.
