I recently bought an 04 Yukon, 5.3 flex fuel HD edition. The service stability message comes on at start and I am not really familiar with the stabilitrax setup yet (others have always been 4x4 trucks w/ regular setup). It also has the engine light on, with codes P0171 & P0174 lean both banks. The stability codes it is setting are C0186, C0201, C0279 and also has a U1000 and U1096. I know some of those codes have to do with communication errors, but all seem to have some sort of connection to the EBCM. Does not get any reduced power messages, no drivability/steering issues, just the message and engine light. I am assuming it is either a vacuum line for the E light or the intake gasket, and have read it could be anything from yaw sensor to steering wheel position sensor for the stability message. If anyone has had these problems and can point me in the 'most common' direction, I would greatly appreciate it(my pregnant wife would also appreciate it, as it is what she drives)!
