Servo Questions...

Aloha!!! I was reading all of the threads about the Servo mod that a bunch of you have done and I have a few questions... 1. Do I purchase the 4th gear servo also? I donʻt tow or haul anything... 2. Should I try install myself or have a shop do it? Not very versed mechanically... 3. Would I have to retune after this with BB? Thanks in advance!!!

I would only get the 1-2 Vette servo I haven't heard much about getting 4th... I found it on eBay for 24 dollars shipped from a seller oregin something...a shop near me quoted me 150 for install without tge part. I would highly recomend a tune after the servo but make sure to do tge usual bolt ons THEN servo then tune thereafter.

I would only go with the Vette Servo, or go with a full transmission kit. Either way, after install, send in a new log file so your line pressures can be tweaked.

I got mine from oregon performance on ebay. 24 dollars I think. Great people to deal with and fast shipping. Don't get the 4th one unless you race your truck lol. The only 4th gear one's I have seen are billet and that would way too much for you.

The 4th is also good if you tow, it will also stay on OD longer when climbing a hill and such.

yes, vette servo mod only applies to the 4L60E/4L65E.....no such animal for the 6L80
