Looking at it again I can see the texture from the tape, I thought it was painted as well! That would look good with some blue plastidip for the logo

I used the shadow kit on my 02 tahoe grill. It turn out awesome. Tones down the bright chrome.

Removing factory grille

Would you be able to tell me how to remove the factory grille? I purchased a grille insert and need to take it off before I can put the inserts in. I would much appreciate it. I created a thread titled Gen X Billet Grille if you care to see the picture I posted regarding the grille. Thank you.

Complete front bumper removal was the easiest. All front wheel well screws. 6 or so bolts underneath and the ones under the hood.
Then tabs by the radiator.
Then pull. Lol

Just FYI. I was not happy with the consistency of the shadow paint so I went with the VHT caliper paint. And this is the end product. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1418786904.814544.jpg
