Shift Kit or Rebuild Kit

Check out Sonnax as well for the shift kit, sun shell, etc. I'm finishing up a 4l70e now and am impressed with their stuff. Their products seem to address the common issues with our trannys.

Also, the transmission bench website referenced earlier was invaluable to me. I actually called Jimmy to get some questions answered. Really knowledgeable/nice guy. He also carries a good rebuild kit.

I ordered the rebuild kit tonight in a couple weeks having it installed. I have to let off the gas then it shifts otherwise it will go to 5000 rpm. I was told the transgo will fix transmission shifting problems. From what I think is the valves in the kit synchronize the gears for shifting.
