Shock extenders

Does anyone know if a shock extenser fit an avalanche and a tahoe for a 4 in drop? They look the same

Extenders for a Tahoe and Avalanche are the same. Extenders increase the mounting point distances of the shock 3". So, your shock would be compressed only 1" compared to no drop.

So if i get a 4 in drop spring will it be 5 in with the extenders or will it be 4

The shock extenders won't make a difference in the amount of drop, just how much travel your shocks will end up with. If you drop your rig and leave the shocks mounted the same, the shocks get compressed so they don't have much travel left and they will bottom out.
