Shocks or shock extenders

im getting torsion keys in the front and lifting the front end 3 inches, would I be ok with shock extenders or do I need to spend extra on completely new shocks

I'd go with new shocks. Shock extenders have been known to break or crack over time

Yes you can. That's what I did, ran shock extenders for approximately 10,000 miles with no issues, but when I took them off, they were pretty rusty. Of course I ran them through the winter here in IN.

Mine would most likely rust then too in the winter here in MD but hopefully I could get new shocks by November

Yeah for sure. I live in Florida so obviously less rust but I feel better with longer shocks. Rides better too
