We went shopping for the above mentioned replacement at a GMC dealer and a Chevy dealer today. GMC dealer crew were hopelessly uninformed. Much better experience at the Chevy dealer. Oh, and just to stir the over-stirred pot a little more, our focus is on GMC Yukon Denali vs Chevy Tahoe LTZ. With our frame of reference being our 1996 5.7L-engined Tahoe, either provides a huge improvement in performance. Nothing on order as yet; we shall see what develops this week.
