Should I sell my 3rd row?

They've literally never been sat on, and are a pain on road trips because you have to take them out to make room for cargo. A guy locally here is wanting some on Craigslist, he offered my $275 and I just e-mailed him back and told him $400 would make me think about it.

What do you guys think? Black leather btw.

I've never used mine and have them stored in my basement. The issue I would have with selling the seats would be when I go to sell the car. I'm not sure how it would affect the value.

I took the third-row seats out of mine. Kept the third-row headrests which are now installed in the second-row seats, and threw the third-row seats in the dumpster. If I don't use something, it usually winds up in the dumpster real quick.

I would just keep them just incase. In the year I had my Tahoe I did put them in once for a road trip.

Plus like Brian said, If you sell it or trade it in you have everything to make it complete.

Also I have seen them go for around $800 on ebay.

I sold mine a few months back for $450. I brought my 04 in Jan 06 and they were in my basement wasting space since Mar 06 so I let'em go.

Chris, if I was in your shoes I'd sell too. $400 is a favorable price for sure. I woulda sold it for more but that's still an extra 400 in your pocket

Well the thing is ...

Third rows for NNBS trucks are for sale everywhere ... this is good and bad.

The bad: You won't get that much for them, and although you aren't affecting the value of the truck that much, you are restricting the pool of private buyers that would purchase it, as some of them would undoubtably make use of it.

The good: You can always buy another one on the cheap when you sell the truck.

But the latter seems like a pita to deal with, so unless you are pressed for cash, just store them away till you sell it.

I bought my tahoe in September without a third row...3 days later I bought one on craigslist for 400...I say sale it if you want the money, someone will buy your truck without a third row...or do like soulsea said and buy another one right before you sale it if your going to worry about it.

I plan on keeping the Tahoe for a few years at least, and it sure would help the tuition fund for my MBA starting in January. My employer will reimburse me, but only at the end of the semester, so I have to pay the first semester up front.

Plus the new '92 GMC Sierra mod fund has been getting a lot more love than the tuition fund, ha!

Idk, if he agrees to $400 I'll be hard pressed to turn it down.

also it seems like people like to steal the 3rd row seats out of trucks for whatever reason.. maybe an easy 400 bucks?? idk.

get rid of it. they arnt comfortable anyways and everyone can use 400 bucks haha
