ok so yesterday for the first time ever, on my way to work my hoe shuts off momentarily and turns right back on as im driving. all electronics, motor, everything just for half a second and then right back on. did it three times yesterday. checked the battery posts and they were tight, just cleaned them off not long ago so dont believe there is any corrosion. anybody got any ideas? the third time it did it it didnt start back up, i had to turn the ignition off then back on and its been fine so far.

check not only the terminals but the cables as well, especially the ground cable and make sure there is clean contact. Had the same problem and it was a faulty ground cable.

Yeah, do a big three upgrade. Super cheap, super easy. If nogo, check your ignition switch, and the wiring going from the switch to the starter. If you have the stock security system, check that too. Keep us posted. That sucks. Good luck!!

x'2, this happened to me last year. It ended up being old/corroded wires to the starter. The bad connection would cause similar problems that you are describing.

yea i was thinking of doing the big 3, does it matter what wiring is used for it? only asking cause i work in a boat shop and have bulk marine grade electrical copper tinned wiring which has greater corrosion resistance than standard automotive, plus i can get it for next to nothing
