i have a question about the 2002 tahoes that have lights underneath their side mirrors.

there is a switch inside the car that allows u to slide it up and turn on all the lights inside the hoe. i wanted to know if there was any wire i can buy to connect those mirror lights to the switch for me to turn those on as well.

anyone have the answer, let me know asap. thanks

I believe you'd have to change the power wire from those mirrors to the courtesy wiring. The courtesy wiring is located behind the Diagnostics port under your steering wheel, remove the black box behind it. Look for a big plug. The power wire for the courtesy lighting is gray. Just search on these forums for the courtesy lighting footwell lights, it will come up. Even with LEDs you can easily blow the fuse. I wouldn't recommend it though.

Not sure if they come on with the dimmer switch though, I could be wrong. Btw, nice to see that you're back Chad.

Right sir! But the ones in the door panel do not run off the same fuse as the rest of the interior lighting. TBH, I would probably just tie it into the runs in the door panel... ;) Goodluck!

Oh but they do come on with the dimmer switch. :)
