I've debadged a few vehicles. As long as the emblems are simply adhered, I get best results using fishing line to 'slice' them off, followed by goof-off to remove visible remnants of adhesive, followed by polishing with a mild compound (Meguiar's Ultimate Compound is my favorite), followed, if necessary, by a good fine polish (Meguiar's Ultimate Polish) then sealant and wax.

I use rapid remover when debadging and demolding. Usually heat the area up or let it sit out in the sun for most of the day, in my experience it helps the tape remove for the body better. Spray some rapid remover on let sit for a minute and start wiping off. Then polish and wax afterwards
