side view mirrors/ puddle lights

i have 2007 yukon xl slt and just added new side view mirrors with turn signals in them and puddle lights , puddle lights dont work but turn signals do. is there some thing easy to do to get them to work or how do i get them to work ?

If new bulbs is not the answer (Im not being a smarta$$, but they are prone to burn outs for some reason)...
then I would say that the dealer needs to reprogram your BCM... Right now your BCM has been told at the factory that you do not have puddle lights, and therefore does not need to provide power to there...

Where and how much did you get your mirrors for? I'm thinking of upgrading my mirrors with the ones that have signal and puddle light.

my lights can be toggled on/off in the information center. separately progammable for driver 1 & 2. i'm curious to know where and how much also. recently had my ds mirror knocked off by a hit & run jacka$$ with his super wide dodge power extendable towing mirrors...not that he was towing anything of course. anyway, replacement mirror was crazy expensive from GM. they said the auto-dimming was what drove the price up.

ebay is your best bet. I got both of mine for 265 shipped. used but were in great shape. if u dont mind about the oem theres a company called VUE that sells them also.
