ive owned my 2004 Yukon 4x4 for almost a year now. I have not done any real modifications to it, but since starting down the 4x4 road i am encountering a real problem that i have no idea how to answer.

Is my truck a HD or not, is it a 1500 or 2500? How would i know? I dont have any badges that suggest any special model. It is cloth seats, 5.3 and so forth, third row as well if that matters. I am in australia and a bit short on GM dealers to clear up this issue for me.

any help? I would most certainly appreciate it.

It is most likely a 1500 and not a HD. How many lugs on the wheels? 14 bolt rear or 10 bolt?
