Stevek,

I see that you’re experiencing multiple issues with your vehicle. I am very sorry to hear that. Did you speak with your dealership to confirm if there is a reason for the backfire plus bad gas mileage?

Thank you!

what would a GM dealer know that cant be found on the internet? i swear they are getting dumber and dumber...the old answer of "talk to your dealer" used to be good when they had techs that could diagnose problems and fix them. now they only have robots who plug a computer in and read a code and throw whatever part at it they think will fix it and then throw another at it and then another at it and then say its normal.

No, and I'm rather afraid to go there. For some stupid reason I actually went there with a problem before WITH A VIDEO OF THE PROBLEM and they gave me a "could not replicate" excuse on my receipt. Oh, I had to pay for them to tell me they couldn't replicate the problem.

The people in the service depot, they're stupid. I don't want to talk to a complete idiot trying to explain my problem. I want to talk to someone who actually will be WORKING on my car... someone who had to go to school to get their job. One service depot idiot told me I needed to get my carburetor cleaned... I DON'T HAVE A CARBURETOR.
