yes. you can get a half inch off the factory keys, just get under your truck and loosen the bolts a few turns. Make sure you jack the truck up off the ground to take tension off of it!

I had different keys put in and the dude said he turned it down all the way but its so weird cause the front end still is a little high up.

what keys did you have installed? what does your front fender measure ground to fenderlip? I just ask about measurements because if you are currently around the 33" range then your keys might be maxed out as the installer said. If you are much higher, like 35" then there might be some other problem. Do you have drop spindles installed too?

I would suggest doing what Ghost mentioned earlier. Jack up and support the front of the vehicle w/ some jack stands to get the weight off the front wheels. Next, go under the truck and loosen the torsion bar bolts as far as you can without removing them completely. Then just put the truck back on the ground and go for a quick spin around the block. Re-measure your ground to fenderlip and see if there are any changes. If the front is too low, repeat and tighten the bolts until you get the front where you want it. This will be the only way to verify that your torsion bar keys are maxed out one way or the other. Let us know what you find.

yulp no problem! takes no time at all.. im assuming he ran the bolts down all the way, which would give the reason for not much drop. They should be about half way if im correct and driver side should be a little more ran down than passenger side to make up for the factory lean. Just play with it man, but i wouldnt suggest loosening them all the way because it will ride terribly!

well you guys i did all i could.. I measured it once more really precisely before loosening the key bolts and im at 36 1/2 on the right and 36 1/4 on the left..bad to start off with and all i was able to do was get left from 36 1/4 to 36 but when i got the right down any lower than 36 1/4 it became too loose.. so thats all i could do.. I dont get it why is my truck retarded..I had to get longer bilsteins and a spacer just to get the rear up to the stock 37"

Well bud, assuming that everything else on the truck is from the factory, I would say you may have some lift keys installed. If you still have the factory keys, get those re-installed and adjusted.
