SLP Cold-Air Induction Package 1999-07 4.8/5.3/6.0 Silverado/Sierra/SUV

Has anyone used this system on a '05 Tahoe or similar? Would the k&n setup be better?

I would think that the closed system would help to eliminate hot engine air where the k&n would be susceptible to leaks around the hood seal? I have never heard anything bad about SLP quality either?

Thoughts?

Dang, Kyle, that looks really good. I might have to go with the SLP instead of the K&N.

Your sig lists k n cai? Do you not think it was worth the money?

Only reason I got the k an n is bc I got if for cheap. I hate the open filter design bc it stays covered in bugs and needs cleaning every 3-4 months. A simple drop in filter with modded air box, and a airraid jr kit is sufficient and will pull plenty of air. It's the setup I have now on my 09 silvy
