I bought some leds for my 08 yukon, for the licence plate and the tailights and for the turn signals front and back. The front turn signals worked good for about a day but now the right side only lights up whenever it blinks but it wont stay on while driving at night.also the rear tailights never wanted to light up..the back up works but the stop and the one right above it dont want to work with these bulbs..anyone else ever have this issue?

Diodes only light up with current flowing through the right direction - have you tried reversing how you have them plugged in?

If you paid $10 for the front turns then that could be why.
Do they have resistors built in, did you add any?

I did not install resistors..one reason being that idk what ohm # and how many watts. Second is because those things get so hot and the yukon headlights are so cramped that im afraid of melting or burning something. I have about 10 resistors that a friend left from his led install..they are 6ohm 50w..would these be good?

V-LEDs.com has some slick resistor mounting plates. I'd recommend putting one of those somewhere and mounting those resistors to them. Keep in mine as long as the resistor is in line, you're fine. They don't need to be mounted directly against the headlamp.

Can you post some pics of what you have? Do you have a way to test from a 12V source?
The 6 ohm 50 watt resistors are typically wired directly across V+ and ground to place a load on your flasher relay or the body control module to halt hyperflashling.
The problem you describe sounds like something else.

You can bend out the contact wires to make the reverse lights work. As far as the other lights not working, I'm not sure.

I just put in some CREE LEDs in my reverse lights from DDM, they fit great. Haven't even driven the Tahoe since putting them in though, so I can't speak to the longevity or improvement yet.
