I'm struggling to find a creak that's driving me nuts. I can hear it as a depress the brake pedal even while the vehicle is standing still (like sitting a drive-thru window... I can keep pumping the brake pedal and hear it). I hear the SAME creak if I stand on the running boards and bounce up and down so I don't think it's like caliper slide pins or anything really related to braking hardware.

I'll lubed all of the bushings and nothing has changed. I suspect it could be a body mount but I don't know how to properly blast those with some AT-205 or silicone spray. Do I need to jack up the body off the frame a bit or just blast from below? I would love to hear from anyone with body mount experience on a 2017 'hoe.

This sound is only on the driver side... and it seems to be coming from just between the driver and passenger rear door...

Thank you!

For anyone that finds this in the future... I was partially wrong... The issue was a caliper slide pin... it either wasn't greased during the last brake job 3 years ago... or some water got into the boot. It was rusted up pretty good and dry as a bone. Dealership cleaned it up and re-greased it... smooth as silk!

UPDATE!
Turns out I was wrong.... again. I posted the initial optimistic update after speaking with my service writer.

I was charged $225 to clean/re-grease "a dry slide pin"... Well, that wasn't the problem at all and was back at the dealer the next day. Now they are telling me the issue is the caliper itself.. BOTH driver and passenger side and the only fix is to replace them both. Will cost $800 - $900.... I'm hesitant... but wanted to share this update.
