I just picked up a 99 Denali. It still has the factory Bose radio in it. The radio seems to be shutting down somewhat randomly. A friend told he that it may be overheating and shutting off. Witch I was inclined to believe. But the wipers quit working even after changing the pulse board. When I try anyway to use The wipers, it shuts off The radio. Are these two systems connected? All the fuses I can see are good the rear controls for the radio look a little damaged like some one hit them with something. I also heard that changing the radio head to something aftermarket makes the rest of the system lose sound quality.

It seems the windows are going out with it too. And its gotten much worse almost to where im a little worried to drive if its going to rain that day. I cant seem to find any diagrams for the ground locations. Just looking up under the dash I cant see anything. And im really not looking forward to calling the dealer about a bcm. Does anyone have a link to show me where all the grounds are?

unknown at this time.
two sets of ground to check. 1. under left dash side on reinforcement bat should be about 2 wires. 2 body structure below right side of windshield. also two wires i think. may have to remove glove box or airbag module to inspect.

Great ty ill check those today. Off topic... have you ever had a issue outting hing pins in one of these? I took it to a friend of mine with the typical kit I got at the parts house and we cant get the bushings to fit. I didn't think I would neen anything special for that. A hammer and a jack
