Some of you may know that whatever I do there is always an effen problem. So to recap last week I went to have my heated/memory seat switch replaced and learned that my truck already has DL3 mirrors and that the original owner replaced the window switch with a non-DL3 switch. Great! Rite? But after manually folding the mirrors for the last 8 months they both now wobble in the wind and will have to be replaced.

So I go ahead and order a new AC-Delco window switch from FLEEBAY and today had it installed, just like that my mirrors fold in! And the wobble goes away! The gm tech says that the spring resets itself when you power fold them in, this resets itself in case they accidently get manually folded in. A $130 window switch saved me nearly a grand which is what I was looking at for 2 new mirrors, paint, instal and programming of the switch, etc. So who is better then me? Rite? Not that fast, I get half a block away from the shop and my two front windows will not roll up! WTF!!!!!!

I go back and the tech pulls out his computer and sure as shit the switch is no effen good. So now I have to pay to put the old switch back in. I was ready to flip the eff out! I cannot win!

So long story short (actually short story long, sorry) I had him order me a new one from GM, he told me he will give it to me for cost.

How much do these switches go for? The price he quoted me is too good to be true.....

I don't know how much they cost but hopefully you can return the faulty switch and not be out the $130. So you'll still be ahead when the good switch arrives :) yes it's frustrating but you have to look at the positive side sometimes :)

well, this one is an odd one and seems to have been brought on due to a cheap previous owner(s) who didn't wanna fix an issue correctly and also by faulty switch. I have not had any issues at all but have heard of MANY having stabilitrak issues in one form or another. I think Bellis' issues are the worst I've heard with her BCM issues. My dad had electrical issues with his '10 silvy CC so he traded it for a '12 a couple months ago and hasn't had issues since.

My experience with GMs are that the most common issues are electrical. ford has engine problems and that dodge has transmission issues. But everybody has their own experiances.

I believe the switches go for 249 with trim.
