Well not really broke in, moreover just opened the door. We live in what seems to be a very safe neighborhood so my mom never bothers locking her car (though I always do).

Went out this morning to get her iPod nano out of the center console to update it with a few new songs and it was gone, along with the cable connected to the USB port. But what doesn't make sense is that they didn't steal her few pairs of designer sunglasses and some of the cash and wallets we left in there. They just stole the iPod and cable.

Sucks. :emotions122:

sorry to hear that... good think they didn't take the 8" screen!!! After watching that "Steal an escalade in 14 seconds" news clip that someone posted, it shows that the LEAST you should do is lock your doors these days.

thieves are weird and sometimes not too smart. when my tahoe got broken into, they stole maybe, and i stress maybe, $10 in change - i have a passport radar detector, check book, text books, tools, other sell able things (luckily i cleaned the car out, and removed my gun!), but they just wanted that "quick" cash - haha and they probably took it to a coin star and lost $.08 on the dollar! so all that damage ($1200) for some change!

Security film (not tint) on all windows seems like more and more of a necessity. Tint also will do some help.
