Tried starting my 04 yukon after a couple of days not touching it, noticed it struggled to start, charged battery and took down to autozone, and oreilly, had battery tested, also alternator and starter everything was ok.

I put a voltmeter on the negative cable and pulled some fuses, noticed that with truck off nothing on at all it was pulling around 2.5amps, when i pulled the radio fuse the draw dropped to .61amps, the radio is off, no cd in, no tape in deck, secondary radio in back seat was off and never been used, does anyone know what else i could check on the radio circuit, cant find any info. Or does anyone know where i should look from here, any help appreciated.

If you have the Bose system, might be the stock amp not turning off! Also might be another stock circuit that's piggy backed onto that circuit that might be the problem as well!

I recently purchased a 2004 Yukon Denali XL, from an individual, and I noticed he had a 3 amp fuse in the radio slot. The fuse was obviously blown, but when i replaced it with right size fuse, the radio or something else on this circuit drained the battery. I'm new to this forum, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
