Greetings from Central Point!
I just bought my first Chevrolet product in 21 years of driving. We found a super nice '99 Yukon SLE with one owner, impeccable service, garage kept, etc, etc. 105k miles and owned by a now elderly couple. I don't see any signs of misuse. He told me they did get christmas trees every year, so at least it has been in 4wd some of it's life. Set out to get an Expedition, but this just fit us well. It looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. They even kept the original sticker with options and all.
I am still up in arms about the 4L60E. I'm hoping it will last another 50,000. It feels fine, but all of the research I did points to them failing sooner than later. Overall, very happy with it. It needs a tune up, tires, ball joint, and other small maintenance items. We are replacing a 2011 minivan (caravan) with this fine machine. Let me be the first to tell you to never, ever, ever buy a minivan to replace your american full size SUV. We had to live and learn the hard way.
And now, the questions will commence! After I search, of course.
Be Well,
