It's actually a 2dr/4dr thing, not tahoe/yukon. The 2dr has it in the back because the fuel tank is in the rear, unlike a 4dr that the tank is on the side. I hear ya though, I plan on just leaving it out when I'm bombing around town, then just throw it back in for long trips, or throw it on the rack.

35 will fit in like the normal one in the 2-door. just have to redo the mount a little on mine so it sits staight up and down to clear the sub box.

KMA makes one that's f'ing sweet. It's a bumper replacement that costs somewhere in the neighborhood of ~$600 but the looks are totally worth it IMO. They will custom make it how you want...check out the green NBS tahoe...that's 02TahoeMD on here.

WOW that IS sweet!.
now I just have to figure out how to get it!

just sent them an email to find out what kind of bearings they use in the swing arm and whether it can
lock in the open position

see i could make that,,,with scrap steel or pipe.as far as the pivot point, you can go to a tractor supply place and get bolt that has a sleeve on it ,to get your swing away, and use my stock bumer.just drill hole and insert, im trying to figure way to use my hitch, gees they make so many diff, hitches and stuff hell a hitch with a 8 inch rise,,,figure somethibg out,,,,,thanks,,,,thanks for pics nice hitch but out of my price range, maybe just bolt it to front

forget the bolt. use a trailer hub assembly. what most use on the "homemade" swing aways.

i have yet to modify the mount, waiting till i get out of this unemployed rut from hell i fell into. but i can snap you a couple pics of it before hand if you want.
