Speaker looking piece above driver seat???

What is the small one inch round speaker looking piece of plastic that is above the driver seat and above the second row seat on the driver side? Are they some kind of sensor for the climate control? Whenever it gets cold out (in the 30s) there is a rattling noise that comes out of it until the truck cabin warms up. Please let me know if there is a fix for this and if I should take it in for warranty work.

It is a temp sensor for the climate control system it has a little fan inside of it

Anyway to stop the rattling? Should I take it in to be fixed?

Probably be a good idea. I've heard of the little fan going bad in them.

I have also heard, get compressed air and spray into it, may clear up the noise. (buzzing sound)

Dealer should take care of it. I had the one in the back replaced. Was buzzing really bad.
