the rms on the speaker is 400 watts if i am running 4 of them equals a total rms of 1600 so does that mean my amp have todeliver 1600 rmsor can i push with 1000-1100 watts rms

ah, OP: yes, you can run less power than RMS.

You can run less power than RMS, especially if you run them at lesser resistance.
