My wireless CarPlay has always been horrible in my 21 Yukon. Constant WiFi interference and once it disconnects and reconnects it sputtering the entire rest of my trip. Phone calls sputtering, music , you name it. It’s never mattered what iOS I’ve had, it’s just always sucked. So annoying!

Any news on this thread? We’re a year passed the original post date, iOS 17 is in the rear view in lieu of 18.X, and I’m still having the exact issues as smacdonald82. This is a constant frustration for me, to the extent some days I want to drive my (2021) Tahoe to the dealership and trade out of it.

FWIW: Mine is a 2021 (Built August 24, 2020) and for approximately the first 2 years it would drop Apple CarPlay occasionally for unknown reasons. Going by my last 2 road trips (one just under 2000 miles in September and one last week just under 400 miles), not one problem with Apple CarPlay. That said, during all this time since purchasing my Tahoe, I've had several OTA software updates and one dealer installed software update, upgraded to the IPhone 14 and did all the software updates to the phone (Current has iOS 18.1.1). So somewhere in there they seemed to have fixed the connectivity issues, at least in my case.
