What upgrades or changes do you think will happen or hope will happen in the 22 model year?

maybe 6.2 offered on the premiere trim.

When would we expect to be able to order and take delivery of a 2022?

I don’t expect any upgrades. Except maybe related to software in the audio, navigation or OnStar.

Escalade will get optional supercruise.

There will be a few paint color changes.

There will be some decontenting. Expect optional wheels to be reduced in number. Wouldn’t be surprised if power sliding console is deleted in MY2022. Maybe some decorative stitching will be deleted.

Production changes under the skin will occur to facilitate vehicle assembly and improve initial quality.

Keep in mind that these MY2021 SUVs were intended for MY2020. They were pushed to allow more development time. But CY2020 was disastrous for all manufacturing. So far CY2021 isn’t looking any better.

Hopefully adaptive cruise control on the lower trims. I love the option but there is no way in hell I am jumping into a premium or a high country to get it. They also need more lighting. Not having driving lights is a huge miss. If they don't solve it by 2023 when I intend to replace my Pilot with a suburban I will most likely purchase a Toyota Sequoia or Jeep Wagoneer. Those companies won't drop the ball.

That would be awesome but not sure if it would fit. Hell they can't even get a 3.0 diesel in a Z71 trim :(

What room difference is there between the 2500 series trucks and the Tahoe? No different than having the V8 diesel in the 2500 series Suburban, right?

I don't know man they have tightened up the underhood space on the 2021's, it's much smaller than any other previous models

I wish GM would license some led bulbs for the rear tail light assemblies. I would also like tow hooks for the front and perhaps some led fog lights
One more thing. Ditch the polished mirror caps. Painted is much nicer
6.2 offering in the premier too
