The past few weeks when I drive over some bumps or pot holes, etc. My speedo looses signal and quickly regains it.

As in when I drive over the bad spot it shows that I have lost speed but quickly picks back up.

The problem is also causing my Trans to shift out of over drive, sometimes erratically if there is a series of bad spots in the road.

Where should I begin searching for the problem?

Bad ground. Time to wiggle wires under the dash untill you find the right one.

Just realized I didn't update this.
I inspected the vss connector and wiring while I had it on the rack.
Couldn't find anything wrong with the wiring or connector, no corrosion either.
Although the problem went away, guess it just needed to be unplugged and plugged back in.
Glad it wasn't a $erious problem.
Thanks for the input ya'll.

unknown at this time.
If the sensor or it wiring itself was causing the issue you would have lost several functions like cruise, abs control if called into duty, funky Evo reaction and such.
