i too debated for awhile over what to get...as this time, i have a 2.5 F / 1.5 R lift on a 285/55/22 Toyo AT3. Stock front Coils assembly's, with Readylift upper arms ( these clear stock wheels, whereas most do not). the rear shocks are 5100 bilstein
now, at 75K miles, i believe to have a lower ball joint popping ( not due to lift, but just in general it could have aggravated it)
the ride is very similar to stock with slightly less roll due to the firmness of the rear sock ( i knew from past, it would be slightly stiffer, but we have 6 passengers with ball gear most days)
in all honesty, it rides great, handles great and looks much more aggressive without being overkill. i personally want to go with fox coil over, but they were not available when i ordered the tires.
i am not usually a fan of higher leveled trucks due to suspension angles, hence the 2.5, i have seen 4" with out arm cradles, but i would not go that high...unless doing a full 4" with arm relocation mounts, which may be in the nearer future. right now this is the wifes daily, but i plan to take it over very soon.
