Spent WAY too much time researching ride quality of 3" proper lift vs. 2.5" front:1-2" rear level kit for my 2015 LT Tahoe. Suggestions?

Spent WAY too much time researching ride quality of 3" proper lift vs. 2.5" front:1-2" rear level for my 2015 Tahoe. Bought new 285/60R20 Toyo AT2s and hoping for best fit and ride. Never ridden in a lifted whip. Suggestions?

Actually, I have been there. Great for its gallery.

I'm more interested in those who can I guess comment on the ride quality between a lift and level...

Ride quality is very subjective, and it also depends on for what purpose. The qualities that make for a good ride on smooth pavement are not the same that I’d prefer on rough surfaces. Some explanation of what you do or don’t want will get you some better answers.

Total DD; much highway. No offroad, but I wanted a less pretentious look by the slightly larger/more aggressive tires (which unfortunately require height adjustment). Live in MI, so I don't want snow handling to suffer (which I expect is mostly a tire matter). Only thing I tow on occ. is a 6x12 utility trailer. Love for the ride to be even better than stock (not that it rides poorly mind you); happy to put the cash into this, but admittedly ignorant to what exactly I would need to make this happen.

i too debated for awhile over what to get...as this time, i have a 2.5 F / 1.5 R lift on a 285/55/22 Toyo AT3. Stock front Coils assembly's, with Readylift upper arms ( these clear stock wheels, whereas most do not). the rear shocks are 5100 bilstein

now, at 75K miles, i believe to have a lower ball joint popping ( not due to lift, but just in general it could have aggravated it)

the ride is very similar to stock with slightly less roll due to the firmness of the rear sock ( i knew from past, it would be slightly stiffer, but we have 6 passengers with ball gear most days)

in all honesty, it rides great, handles great and looks much more aggressive without being overkill. i personally want to go with fox coil over, but they were not available when i ordered the tires.

i am not usually a fan of higher leveled trucks due to suspension angles, hence the 2.5, i have seen 4" with out arm cradles, but i would not go that high...unless doing a full 4" with arm relocation mounts, which may be in the nearer future. right now this is the wifes daily, but i plan to take it over very soon.

2013 Yukon Xl Denali with a 2.5 inch in the front and 1 inch in the rear suspension max leveling kit. Tuned with long tube headers.
