Hi, all. I have a '21 Tahoe 2WD (non-air ride) and I'm looking to get it a little higher in the air. Don't flame me too bad for this. I don't have the cheddar right now (last kid in college) to go out and get the Ram RHO that I really want. Until then, I'm looking to make mine something similar to what the guys at Hurst Autoplex/Autoplex Customs (find them on IG) are doing. Absolutely filthy trucks. Since this isn't a 4x4, I'm looking to go the spindle lift route to ensure that the front bearing isn't put into a weird angle (no replacing of the control arms, either). Plus, I've been told this will pretty much keep the factory ride (save the A/T tires) smooth. I'm most likely going to go with the 3" lift spindles from CST (https://cstsuspension.com/shop/chev...hevy-gmc-1500-2wd-3-fabricated-lift-spindles/). They appear to be a much higher quality product, plus they're milled here in the States. Here's my first jam....these spindles are designed for a Silverado 1500. When I was on the phone with CST, the tech told me that while they weren't specifically designed to work on a Tahoe, I should look and see if there's any correlation to the spindles on the Tahoe and the Silverado. If they're the same p/n, it will work. The only reason they haven't officially listed this product as compatible with a Tahoe is because no one has ever asked them for such a thing. Leave it to me (insert shoulder shrug). After wearing Google out, I've found that the exact same spindles are used for both trucks. Question 1 for any of the GM techs on here....do you see any reason why this wouldn't work for the front?

Jam #2....this one involves lifting the rear. I'm pretty set on raising the front 3" and the rear 1.5". This will give me the same rake on the truck that I currently have (Traxda 2" level) and I really like the way the truck sits. Plus, I'll still be able to get in both my garage, as well as the airport parking garage. I'm in the latter much more than I want to be, so I have to consider this. I spoke with the Traxda owner about lifting using his spacers to get my truck to my desired height and he said that lifting the rear >1" will throw off/compromise the rear camber arm, what with it being independent suspension. Rough Country makes a 3.5" front + 2" rear 2WD lift kit, so I called them and asked the question about the rear camber arm alignment. They said that they had never heard of that being a concern and that if it was an issue, they would have heard about it from the many customers that they've sold this set up to. So, here's question 2....is the camber arm alignment really a thing I need to worry about? I know the Traxda guy used to work at RC, so I tend to trust what he says. The problem is I just don't know. I've put a lift kit on an F-250 that I had, but this is a different animal. Sorry for the long post, but I prefer to put it all on the table rather than have a bunch of back-and-forth messages. Thanks in advance!!
