Back story: 2014 Tahoe LTZ bought in 2020 with 90,000 miles 1 owner local driver. All service done at our local Chevy dealership. Vehicle was well maintained inside and out. No issues when purchased.

*Fast forward*

I have put many miles on the hoe. She has seen many states and tough roads since I have had her. She is maintained with oil changes tire rotation etc. Has only presented with 1 issue since we bought it which was a cracked radiator. We immediately replaced the radiator and no issues since. I am a lead foot driver and live in a generally rough mountain terrain area.

*NOW*

I am unsure of how long the stabilitrak and traction control service message and the traction control light have been on. Well over 2 years if not longer if I remember. No major issues have stemmed from it.

*what I do notice:

Rough riding, not smooth by any means. Reduced power when you accelerate. When going up hills it does drag and require increased RPM’s. Consistent high idle where you see it in photos is where it stays while sitting.

-what is my solution to fix this issue without going to a dealer? I am no mechanic but have a decent knowledge on how to fix things when I know what I need to be fixing.

The entire truck is stock from the factory and I am now ready to start adding modifications such as a leveling kit with 22 inch wheels and tires. I currently have 20 inch stock wheels with all terrain tires. How does these modifications affect the current issue or will I need to consider anything when fixing this issue given I want to do it right the first time.

**Keep in mind I am a 32 year old female so please dumb all this down for me**

Thanks!

Regarding your wheel/tire/leveling question, larger wheels will be heavier, and this will add to the sluggishness that you already have. My recommendation is to get your current issues resolved, before you do any mods.
