Hello,

Purchased my 2007 Tahoe 4x4 with ~130k miles back in July. About a month ago, Stabilitrak Off, Traction Control Off messages come on along with the dashboard light and ABS light as well. These messages come and go. Sometimes they don't come back for a day at all. Don't see any difference in the way truck drives. No misfiring, cruise control works. When I am driving about 70mph on the highway I do hear a faint noise coming from the front end and once in the blue moon when I do a full lock turn to the right I hear a squeak.

I have googled this for a month now and it seems that our trucks have common issues with Stabilitrak. So far I have not yet found a definitive answer as most people have misfires associated with this problem and I don't, but I do have the ABS light on.

It all leads me to believe that it is my driver's side front wheel bearing, but before I start replacing parts wanted to hear if anyone else has experienced similar and what the fix was?

Thanks

Try replacing the brake light switch on the brake pedal. It's about $25.00. I recently had the same problem and that corrected it immediately.
Good Luck!

Thanks! Had it scanned last week and unfortunately it's the front left speed sensor (c0035) which is attached to the wheel bearing. Also, have noticed minor noise from that wheel, therefore will be replacing the bearing. It's comes w the sensor for about $120 from Amazon. Should be a fun project. It just sucks that I just changed the rotors and pads 3, 4 m ago and now have to disassemble all over again.
