First I'd like to thank you all for the hours of information that you've all contributed to. I belong to several forums for the types of vehicles I own and am a firm believer in searching out the posts before adding another question. But since I haven't been able to find it, here goes.
I re-geared my 2005 Yukon from the factory 3.73 to 4.56 to improve towing in mountain areas and long steep grades. Love the increase in performance, but after reprogramming the computer to correct my speedo, I now get the "STABILITY SYS DISABLED" warning. Hypertech tells me that it's due to the 4.56 gears, but cannot explain why it only happens after the reprogramming.
Anyone else had to deal with this? Any Ideas?

Thanks for any info.

Strange, I would ask to get in touch with a supervisor or a different tech on the tech line I would imagine they should be able to program it to work just fine. I am waiting on Diablosport to revise my tune for my 4:56 gears

This might be off topic but did the increase effect gas mileage much?

Been thinking about going from the 3.73 to 4.56s but Can't quite yet pull the trigger.

With around town driving, your engine and tranny are working much less so mileage seems to be better. On the highway you're turning more rpms so mileage will suffer a bit. But honestly I haven't noticed much difference.

I am averaging 13.9mpg (mixed city and highway) about 300 miles per tank. If you want to re-gear and still have decent fuel economy go with 4:10s, my speedo was not calibrated when I had my 4:10s which limited me to 92mph but having started with 3:73s and going to 4:10s I did not notice much fuel economy difference.
