Hi all! my -01 Tahoe having this wierd startin issue. It cranks fine and fires up with a really rough idle and dies if you put it in any gear. After trying to start the truck a couple of times it suddenly runs just fine??? Having this issue almost every day. Any ideas?

check your battery and clean the connections. if you have a load tester check the battery and alt under load to make sure all is good there.
check the maf and air intake to make sure all is tight and not letting any air coming in after the maf...
starter may be on its way out...
a coil may be having issues or a tune up may need to be in your near future!
