I haven't really looked for OBS hoods since I hav a different front end. But mine retailed for 495 plus shipping. I got lucky got mine for 215 shipped to my front door.

How much you think it costs to ship a METAL HOOD?
Heck when I was partin out my DSM UPS wanted 632.00 to ship my CF hood!
You can't beat the prices of the hood...thats why there sold out...PROVING your comment is wrong.
What you think costs more? rims or tires?
