On rough roads every now and then or when I make a turn out of a driveway with a slight incline the steering shaft clunks a lil bit, the wheel turns freely and fine otherwise, been looking around online looks like the upper intermediate steering shaft & lower steering column bearing could cause this? Everything in the front end is new, and it's an 04 Escalade if it matters.

Yes, that's usually what it is. Most noticeable at low speeds while turning. Try driving around a cracked up parking lot, it'll go bananas. You can settle it down by "exercising" the ISS to redistribute the grease. Most say this lasts maybe a year. YouTube videos available on this. Also, if you replace the bearing:
1. Find the Delco one, the Dorman is a pos
2. Don't forget to tie your steering wheel off so you don't spin it and ruin the clockspring.

Thanks for the quick reply, I try to stick with AC Delco for the most part, what's wrong with the Dorman one just ****** quality and doesn't last?
