I'm looking to change mine to a Denali one so it'll be heated and power tilt (maybe) with trim accents and matching wood...what I'm wondering is if this will wire up fine or if I'll need new harnesses, and will one from a Suburban or an XL work on my Tahoe?

You are talking in circles.

The answer is yes, no and maybe.

If the vehicle came with heated power options, then it would work.
But because yours did not come with that option when it was built, then the answer is no.

Can the harness be changed to make it work? Maybe

Take the last 10 numbers of the vin to a GM parts desk and have them look up the vin number and see what it has as options and what it needs as options to make it work.

Talk to a tech or two and ask them if it would be possible and how much work it would involve.

As who ever you can find that has the parts how much it would cost to buy those parts and how much it would cost to have them installed.

My guess is that it would be cheaper for you to sell your vehicle and buy a newer vehicle with that option - if you could find it, then to try to retrofit it into your vehicle. Next time you buy a vehicle, buy one that already has all the options you are looking for - before you buy it.

You guys are probably right. It's just, I found one for $125 so I thought, if the wheel wired up to my Tahoe with no problem then it's a $125 well spent.

What he said, lol. Seems like alot of work for a small comfort thing. Anything can be done its just about how much time, effort and money you wanna dump into it.

Thanks for the link! It doesn't seem so bad for under $150. :D

I'd never do this if I had to pay over that much for it though, don't get me wrong.
