I've got a 2010 Escalade. Not a big fan of my steering wheel. Wondering if there are any "easy" swaps. Obviously the mechanical and electrical portions both need to be dealt with.

I have deleted everything except the cruise control for steering wheel functions and have a USB to my computer controller that can translate either resistive or CAN bus signals, but need some way of plugging them in.

Any thoughts? If there were a big junk yard in Minneapolis I am more than willing to go peak at options.

A lot of people actually swap their Yukon and Tahoe to the heated escalade wheel you have...

I'll be honest, not sure about the new escalade wheel at all. I think it would be an expensive venture if it doesnt work...

There are a couple places that make real wood steering wheels, instead of the plastic faux wood. What is it you don't like about yours? I have an escalade wheel here in my hands and I think I'll like it once I buy the heating element - but would like to know before I do the swap
