Still confused!

After reading as many related posts I am still am confused. I have a 2021 Yukon Denali with at the air ride suspension. I want to put some more aggressive looking tires on the stock 22" wheels. I don't want to go too aggressive looking or have a rough noises ride. Im currently looking at Open Country AT3 and BF Goodrich Trail Terrains. Anyone running those? How do they ride and sound? What size are you running? Did you do a level kit? Second question. If I do a leveling kit, which is best for the air ride suspension? Most the tire dealers that I have spoken to don't seem to understand what I need because of the air ride suspension. It's a totally different kit than a non air ride suspension would use, right? Thanks

From my understanding you can just throw a lower 2” leveling kit under the strut and should be fine. They’re like 40-60$ on eBay and Amazon and is very quick and easy to install. You may need adjustable ride height sensor rods but might not but their cheap and easy to change also.
As for tires the at3 Toyos are kinda noisy bfg aren’t as bad but do have a lil road noise. The quietest all terrain smoothest and longest lasting I’ve ever owned were the nitro terra grapplers
They also make a ridge grappler that looks a lot more aggressive like a mud tire but with a AT tread I had them too and they were great tires I’d lean towards the nittos in my experience

For air ride get Edgymods lift links. I just put them on our Tahoe and set them at just over 1" lift.


And I agree that the Toyo AT3 are noisy but they are get tires. I would assume the BFG Trail Terrains would be a more smooth, quiet tire.

My ex is on her second set of toyo at3’s on her high country. 305/45/22. I put a 1” level on the front just to level it up a bit (no air ride), but they fit before the level.
